Weights 4 is designed for the female student who wants to explore the importance of physical activity and fitness in the weight room. Students will focus on achieving and maintaining a health-enhancing level of fitness. This includes refining movement concepts, analyzing performance, and setting personal fitness goals. Students will learn to develop fitness plans that align with their individual needs while exhibiting responsible personal and social behavior during activities. Understanding the benefits of regular exercise is crucial, and students will connect fitness development to body systems, applying training practices that enhance skills and performance. Safety will be emphasized, teaching students how to prevent injuries and follow safety procedures throughout all physical activities.
