This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain a healthy level of fitness through the development and implementation of their fitness program. Students will engage in units that will help in the development of health practices and improved fitness levels. These units may include the following: circuit training, water aerobics, running, fitness planning, aerobic dance, power walking, step aerobics, and lifetime sports. Fitness levels may be evaluated utilizing fitness testing, fitness applications, and high-intensity training. Plan to train on a daily basis. Uniforms are required.
