Have you always wanted to mix your own music or even learn how to be a DJ? This class will set you up with everything you need to know. In DJ Fundamentals you’ll learn about the theory behind music and the basics of manual beatmatching and scratching and how to skillfully bring together songs to create an experience. Your coach will introduce you to the gear essential to a DJ set including hardware, software and the functions and features needed to mix, remix and produce original work. There will be one performance each semester.
