Cordova High School – Comprehensive Independent Living Skills

The comprehensive program consists of courses necessary for students with severe disabilities who will obtain a special education diploma and who will be assessed using the Alternate Assessment. The students are usually those enrolled in Functional Skills (FS), Adaptive Functional Skills (AFS), and Behavioral Intervention Communication Class (BIC). This course is designed to teach communication skills necessary in the areas of personal life, family life, community, and the workplace.
