Major Outcomes: • Development of the Elements of Musicianship and the Elements of Movement | Projects/Activities: The Marching Band is a highly visible and active music ensemble that includes band students in grades 9-12. The ensemble requires a time commitment outside of the school day, including selected dates in August, Monday evening rehearsals in September and October, all home football games, marching band field show competitions, and possible other venues such as local community events. A cal- endar for the season is available now in the Band Office. Note: This is a first trimester course of a yearlong band curriculum. Students should register for Band Level I, II or III for Trimesters 2 and 3. Stu- dents may enroll and receive credit for this course more than once. Students registered for Band III trimester 2 & 3 will receive Honors Credit [0.5 credit] for Marching Band.
