Major Outcomes: • Teams of students work together guided by a teacher and community mentor using the De- sign Thinking Process to research, design and construct an innovative solution to a problem. • Students will enhance design and manufac- turing skills to help in the development of their creative/innovative project • Teams will participate in an end of course presentation event at AHS | Projects/Activities: Use Design Thinking ® to aid in problem solving; write and develop a final presentation using technology presentation skills STEAM Digital Communication and Design [AHS only] Prerequisite/Selection Process: Priority given to students pursuing STEAM Certification.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite/Selection Process: Successful com- pletion of STEAM core (passed all required STEAM classes) or teacher approval
