Communication and Media Arts High School – Debate Forensics

This course engages students in learning to develop their skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Course curriculum is aligned to the Michigan Standards for English Language Arts (CCSS). This course continues to strengthen their listening and thinking skills, while employed in the preparation of affirmative and negative briefs. Debate Forensics extends learning from Debate courses as students continue to write precise and clear debate briefs and engages students in forensic debates.
