This course provides an introduction to graphic design with a focus on the fundamental elements and principles of visual art and design. Students will develop the basic design and technical skills needed to be successful in the visual/digital world. They will use industry standard hardware and software to produce an individual portfolio of real-world projects. Students will be exposed to the use of digital cameras, scanners, printers, and various graphic file formats.
