Advanced Dance/PE is a fast paced and technically challenging course that provides students with a continuing emphasis on all dance knowledge and skills: ballet, jazz, tap, world dance, modern, and choreography. Students will continue to develop dance technique and kinesthetic awareness, movement vocabulary, choreography, creative expression, musicality, and historical applications. In addition, students will have the opportunity to perform a variety of dance styles and techniques that will increase their self-confidence, self-discipline, and dance appreciation.
