Sculpture II extends the students’ artistic understanding and experiences as introduced in Art I. Emphasis will be placed on the development of compositional skills and imaginative use of the elements and principles of design. The class is designed to strengthen the student’s three-dimensional and spatial skills. Students will experiment with a variety of sculpting materials and tools. Ancient through contemporary sculptures will be studied.
