Students will expand upon their introductory skills from Fashion Design I. This course is designed for students who have an interest in the field of fashion design, production, and merchandising of apparel and textiles. This class is divided into classroom instruction as well as laboratory experiences in which individual design portfolios are created using professional design principles. Experiences will include garment construction, fitting, and alterations. The students will also explore legal and ethical practices that span all aspects of the textile and apparel industries.
