In this course, students will learn usage of common hand and power tools, construction safety, and construction mathematics. Students will learn the basics of wood framing while developing an understanding of basic construction drawings as well as interpreting and presenting information used in workplace situations, as well as learn construction safety, construction mathematics, and usage of common hand and power tools. This course also provides communication and occupation skills to assist the student in obtaining and maintaining employment.
