further extends the knowledge and skills of the advanced ASL III course. Advanced ASL IV will take a detailed look at career opportunities available to those involved in the Deaf Community. The course is broken down into major units analyzing five possible career paths for those interested in ASL: Deaf Education, Interpreting, ASL Education, Audiology and Speech Pathology, creating readiness and exposure within these fields. Students will take the ASLPI exam through Gallaudet University at the end of this course to demonstrate mastery for potential employment and/or college placement.
