Aerospace engineers are involved in space exploration, the development of commercial airliners, military jets, and helicopters. This class uses activity-based problem-solving methods related to aerospace systems to provide students with opportunities to explore the world of aeronautics. Through hands-on engineering projects developed with NASA, students learn about aerodynamics, piloting, air traffic control, astronautics, and rocketry propulsion.
Prerequisites: Engineering Design Process (formally Introduction to Engineering Design); Algebra II or concurrent enrollment in Algebra II required
