Chesapeake Career Center – Academic Support Courses

Support courses are designed to enable students with specific learning deficits to succeed in middle school and beyond. The class provides an opportunity to develop an understanding of individual strengths and weaknesses, to apply various study techniques, and to improve organizational skills. In addition, as determined by the IEP, the course may offer specific academic instruction in English, mathematics, science, and social studies.
Prerequisites: Determination of IDEA eligibility
