Emerson said that the secret of education is respecting the student. I have the greatest respect for that part of the human spirit that is curious and wants to learn. I find that if students feel they are listened to and heard, this allows them to feel encouraged. In January, I will begin my Master of Arts in Public Relations at Johns Hopkins University.
