Central High – Honors Leadership Education and Training AJROTC 2

AJROTC-2 honors course includes all the concept/ content of the non-honors course description plus the following requirements and skills mastery. Cadets are provided opportunities to demonstrate their leadership potential in a platoon/company leadership position. This course stresses the use of complex thinking skills in diverse situations so that they can demonstrate a variety of thinking processes, integrate new information with existing knowledge, and apply thinking skills appropriately. Cadets must demonstrate high competency in writing, speaking, and listening skills. Cadets will serve in a variety of leadership roles, facilitate groups, and respond to complex interrelationships. Prerequisites: Overall non-weighted GPA of 3.0, completion of LET 1 with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, assignment to a cadet leadership position, and approval of both the senior Army instructor and principal.
