Centennial High School – Small Animal Management

This course is designed to develop knowledge and skills pertaining to the ownership, selection, reproduction, nutritional requirements, health and management, and breed identification of a variety of small animals common to the pet industry. This is a laboratory-oriented course that gives students hands-on experience in working with a variety of small animals that may include, but are not limited to dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, rabbits, other small mammals, as well as birds, reptiles and amphibians.
