Celebration High School – Orchestra 2 – Orchestra 6 Honors

This course is for students with at least one year of experience on an orchestral instrument. This is a performance-based course designed for dedicated musicians. Students will study, rehearse, and perform high-quality orchestral literature while refining critical listening, advanced string techniques, and ensemble artistry. Because this is a performance-driven curriculum, participation in all scheduled concerts and assessments are an essential component of the course grade. The rehearsals and performances outside the school day extend and assess learning in the classroom. Students in this class may need to obtain (e.g., borrow, rent, purchase) an instrument from an outside source.
