This course is designed to provide an overview of business operations and introduce students to fundamental skills required for today's business and academic environments. The intention of this course is to prepare students to be successful personally and professionally in business and in an information-based society. The course includes the foundations necessary for starting a business, working at and managing a business, consulting to satisfy customer needs, in conjunction with gaining practical skills in applications including spreadsheets, word processing, presentation, and digital communications.
