Celebration High School – Astronomy Solar/Galactic Honors

Laboratory investigations that include the use of scientific inquiry, research, measurement, problem solving, laboratory apparatus and technologies, experimental procedures, and safety procedures are an integral part of this course. This course will relate the history of and explain the justification for future space exploration, connect the concepts of radiation and the electromagnetic spectrum, analyze the broad effects of space exploration on the economy, describe and apply the coordinate system used to locate object in the sky, etc.
