Students explore the various materials used to create sculptures, which include wood, plaster, ceramics and stone, and use sculpting tools safely while creating personal responses to prompts. Students will analyze other works of sculpture through reading, discussion and critique, examining geometric, abstract and organic forms. PREREQUISITE: Art I plus successful completion of Sculpture I and II
