Interior Design I will focus on the design of residential and nonresidential interior environments and is aligned to industry standards. Topics such as housing and human needs, fundamentals of interior design, space planning/zoning and codes, architectural drawings, historical architecture, building and construction design styles, material/furniture/fixture/accessory selection, history and furniture construction, lighting, 3D visual communications, and professional practices will be covered.

Prerequisites: Prerequisite(s): Credit for Algebra I and English I
