Cedar Park High School – Cosmetology II with Lab

Cosmetology is a planned 1000 clock hour, two-year sequence of classroom and laboratory instruction. Instruction is designed to provide job-specific training for entry-level employment in cosmetology careers. Instruction includes sterilization and sanitation processes, shampooing and rinsing hair, application of conditioning creams and color rinses, application of scalp and hair treatments, shaping and thinning hair, hairstyling, permanent waving, hair coloring, manicuring, and facial massage.
