Students explore a broad range of engineering topics including mechanisms, strength of structure and materials, and automation and then students apply their findings to take on challenges. Challenges and projects include programming robots to simulate an autonomous monorail or an elevator and creating a marble sorter. Students will create balsawood bridges in order to analyze and test forces within bridge trusses.
