Serving as one of the foundational courses for the Business, Management, and Finance CTE completers, Principles of Business Management and Entrepreneurship provides a macro-level study of the business world, including business structure and finance, and the interconnections among industry, government, and the global economy. This course emphasizes problem-based, real-world applications of business concepts as well as personal financial decision making. Students will also be introduced to some core competencies of Entrepreneurship which include: creativity, determination, integrity, communication, engagement, and putting together a business vision. Students will develop the communication skills that will be necessary for success in the workplace and college.
