Carver College and Career Academy – Personal & Professional Discovery Lab

The Personal and Professional Discovery Lab is an interdisciplinary high school course designed to examine and develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to help students develop personal and professional skills that can be applied in the workplace. Students will engage with professionals from the local community through project based learning (PBL) and open-ended inquiry in conjunction with blended learning. Students will develop critical thinking skills, become stewards of their personal and professional accomplishments and gain valuable team working experience, which will prepare them to be informed and empowered citizens.
