Latin 1 focuses on all modes of communication. Successful students will exit the course with a Novice-Mid or higher language proficiency level in the interpretive listening, interpersonal and presentational mode of communication, and at the Novice-High at the interpretive reading mode, aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning and ACTFL proficiency scale.
