Carver College and Career Academy – International Affairs

The purpose of this elective course is to emphasize the Cold War (Berlin Wall, Cuban Missile Crisis, Vietnam, etc.), collapse of Communism, evolution of the European Union, globalization and current world hot spots. This course is open to juniors and seniors currently taking Honors or AP History. Students will be expected to write a position paper, participate in Model UN and complete one major research paper.
