Carver College and Career Academy – Independent Living

This elective course is designed for high school students with disabilities who are instructed and assessed on the Virginia Essentialized Standards of Learning (VESOL). Students learn the skills needed to live as independently as possible in adult life. Instruction focuses on managing personal finances, household responsibilities, health and safety, and community access to build confidence and self-sufficiency.
