Carver College and Career Academy – Honors 3-D Design and Crafts IV

An advanced course where students plan an individual path of study with the art teacher based upon one or more three-dimensional design or craft media of their choice. Emphasis will be placed on the creative process as students research, plan, create, discuss and exhibit original works of art or craft. Further investigation of visual art careers are explored related to media such as ceramics, sculpture, glass, installation, performance, assemblage, 3-D fabric/fiber arts and other media. A career or college-level portfolio will be created. For Honors Course: Honors Contract requirements must be met to receive weighted grading. (Lab fee is required.)
