Theory I and II - develop a student’s ability to recognize, understand, and describe the fundamental processes of musical composition by an integrated approach to develop aural skills, sight-singing, written skills, compositional skills, and analytical skills. Introduction of the analysis of the Bach chorale style facilitates harmonic dictation and enables the student to use these techniques at the keyboard.
