An advanced course where students plan an individual path of study with the art teacher based upon one or more three-dimensional art or craft media of their choice. Emphasis on the creative process is emphasized as students research, plan, create, discuss and exhibit original works of art or craft. Further investigation of visual art careers are explored related to media such as ceramics, sculpture, glass, installation, performance, assemblage and 3-D fabric/fiber arts and other media. A career or college-level portfolio will be created in fulfilling College Board requirements for advanced placement courses. (Lab fee is required.) (Prerequisite: VA923O 3-D Design and Crafts III / Honors 3-D Design and Crafts III or art teacher recommendation)
