Canton High School – Business Foundations and Technology

Mar 2026 · 2nd Semester

Students will be introduced to an entry-level understanding of business organizations and structures, management and leadership styles, marketing fundamentals, accounting and financial principles, production methods, and human resource management and diversity. Business technologies, including the Google Platform, Microsoft Office products, as well as the Adobe Suite will be utilized throughout each unit of instruction. Soft skills, which are key to success in the business world will also be embedded within the curriculum. This course is the 9th grade class in the Business Academy, but is open to non-academy 9th and 10th grade students as well. Qualifies for Applied Arts credit.
