Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security Internship is a structured work-basedcredit-bearing course that is taken as a fourth unit in a three- or four-unit CTE completerprogram. Each work-based learning (credit-bearing) course has an assigned CTE coursecode. The guidelines listed in the CTE Work-Based Learning Implementation Guide mustbe followed in order to award one Carnegie unit of credit upon successful completion ofthe course. This course will not count as the third unit in the three-unit completer pathway.
Prerequisites: Completion of two (2) CTE courses/units within a program. Thiscourse will not count as the third unit for a three-unit completer pathway nora fourth unit in a four-unit completer pathway.
