In the Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance program,students examine the core concepts and terminology of cyber security and informationassurance, integrating the importance of user involvement, network architecture, threats,and security; operational and system security; cryptography; contingency planning;application, data, and host security; access control and identity management; and abroad range of other topics. Upon completion of the two courses, students will beprepared to earn nationally-recognized industry certifications. Advanced Personal Finance introduces students to the fundamentals of personal finance,which include budgeting, credit and lending processes, maintaining accounts, evaluatinginvestments, managing financial risk, computing taxes, and analyzing the basic elementsof finance. Students will be exposed to the tools and knowledge to make sound financialdecisions for life.
