Law Education students study a practical approach to law-related education. In aneffort to educate students about law that is useful in everyday life, the course beginswith an overview of the legal system and then explores general problems in the areas ofcriminal, tort, and individual rights laws. The second part of this course focuses onconsumer, family, and housing law topics. This course is a social studies elective. Psychology | Course Code: 3340 | Psychology students learn to apply scientific observation and explanation of humanbehavior. The first part of this course emphasizes the evolutionary development of thisnew social science from its roots in philosophy to the use of the scientific method todemonstrate mind/ body relationships. The second part of this course focuses onbiological foundations for human growth and development throughout the human lifecycle and elevates student awareness of interpersonal relationships and socialproblem-solving skills. This course is a social studies elective.
