Woodwind courses help students develop and enhance performance techniques throughwoodwind-specific pedagogy. These courses may emphasize rehearsal and performanceexperiences in a range of styles (e.g., concert, marching, orchestral, and modern) in thecontext of woodwind ensemble or as part of the full band ensemble. Formal and informal Berkeley Center for the Arts (BCA) Courses performances may be included as part of the instructional program which may alsoinclude experiences in creating and responding to music. Specific course content shouldalign with existing standards for visual and performing arts proficiency. |
