Web Page Design and Development is designed to provide students with the knowledgeand skills necessary to pursue careers in web design and development. Students willdevelop an in-depth understanding and use of Hypertext Makeup Language (HTML),Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, layout techniques, and other industry-standardpractices. In addition, students willearn scripting technologies to create dynamic andinteractive websites. Students will maintain a professional quality portfolio of web designwork. Successful completion of this course will prepare students for industry certification.

Prerequisites: Keyboarding proficiency and Fundamentals of Web Page Design
