This course will explore a number of key themes and ideas pertaining to racial equity and social justice. It will invite students to explore the perspectives of many different groups of people, to inform how race, gender, orientation, class, disability, and other components of identity impact people’s lives—with strong attention paid to systems and structures that disenfranchise groups of people.
