This course is designed to continue the development of ASL skills with emphasis on improvements in speed and fluency along with reinforcement of appropriate grammar usage and conversation skills. In this course, students will participate in a variety of activities in order to: engage in direct signed communication with others without voice, demonstrate an understanding of receptively viewed communication, present to an audience, make comparisons of the American Deaf culture with their own, and use ASL to make connections to other subject areas and to acquire information.
