Brooke Point High – Peer Tutoring

Peer Tutoring is a higher-level general elective course. The course entails an in-depth study of writing and learning across all disciplines, literacy acquisition, and "ways of knowing." Students investigate how individuals build literacy skills, understand concepts, and acquire knowledge across the disciplines. Students will become experts on approaching data, analyzing problems, and processing information as it relates to mathematics and science. This content is applied and assessed as students develop their own writing, explore and reflect on literacy, language, content and skills acquisition, and attempt to help their peers access knowledge.
