to meet clinical hours mandated by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR). In Cosmetology II, students continue to develop their skills and technical knowledge as it relates to all textures of hair in services such as hair coloring, hair cutting, and hair styling, and skin care, hair removal, and various salon management procedures. Upon successful completion of the 365 competencies and 840 hours required by the Commonwealth, students will be prepared to take the Virginia Board of Cosmetology licensing exam. Schools offering course: MVHS, SHS
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: A passing score of 70% and a minimum of 325 hours earned in Cosmetology I is a requirement
