Brooke Point High – Engineering Drawing and Design

In this course students will continue to learn technical drawing concepts with the aid of a CAD system. Lessons are initially arranged at the beginner skill level and progress to the intermediate skill level. The student will use AutoCAD for two-dimensional drawing applications, while three-dimensional solid modeling will be performed with Autodesk Inventor software. The student will be engaged in real-life projects while developing teamwork, design, and problem-solving skills. Several engineering-related occupations will be explored during the year.
