Brooke Point High – Culinary Arts I

Note: The work in this course requires that the student comply with the regulations of the Virginia Health Department in preparing and serving food sold to the public. This course is designed to teach basic skills in the culinary arts. Labs offer hands-on experience in all areas of the food service industry. Students will be able to enter the food service job market or continue their education in culinary arts. Culinary courses require students to participate in learning experiences outside the school day including evenings and weekends. Students may participate in an immersive work based learning including operating in school cafes and a mobile food trailer. Schools offering course: BPHS, MVHS, SHS
