Journalism is a year-long course for students in grades 9-12. Students will develop and refine interviewing and journalistic writing skills and learn to set goals and meet deadlines in a real production setting. These skills will be applied to the publication of the school's news source. The class operates at a rigorous pace.
Prerequisites: Students in this course should be doing well in English with solid writing and grammar skills. They should also be good at meeting deadlines and confident in their writing abilities and organizational skills.
