Brandeis High School – Team Sports Officiating

Students in Team Sport Officiating will learn the rules, communication, decision-making, and conflict management skills necessary for officiating team sports. They will be introduced to officiating mechanics based on UIL specifications, building a foundation for lifelong officiating. Through field experiences and simulated scenarios, students will apply rules and techniques in real-world settings. They will also focus on maintaining fitness, create a personal fitness plan, practice time management, adhere to the Sports Officials Code of Ethics, and understand legal responsibilities.
