Students examine and explore the applicable regulations at the Federal, State, and local level as they relate to UAS and manned fl ight operations. Students are also introduced to the unique governing aspects of fl ight operations conducted within the National Airspace System (NAS). This course includes introduction to fl ight navigation, weather, mission planning, software, hardware, and fi rmware associated with UAS activities. Students continue to examine the aspects associated with environmental concerns, mathematics, physics, advanced aerodynamics, publications, and required records keeping.
