Bloomingdale High School – ORCHESTRA II, III, IV (Chamber Orchestra)

Chamber Orchestra is the second of two advanced ensembles, and its members are highly dedicated string players. The purpose of this course is to develop independence in musicianship, performance techniques, and aesthetic awareness through the rehearsal and performance of varied orchestral literature. This orchestra works at an accelerated pace. Chamber Orchestra participates in the Music Performance Assessment (MPA) at the district AND state level. Students must audition to enter this course.
Prerequisites: Group is selected by audition + one year Orchestra in High School
