Bloomingdale High School – Portfolio Development Drawing Honors

This course is designed for the serious art student to develop a body of work. Artists may work in, but are not limited to; drawing, painting, printmaking, and/or mixed media that emphasizes line quality, rendering of form, composition, surface manipulation, and/or illusion of depth. Students regularly reflect on aesthetics and art issues individually and as a group. Students' portfolios show personal vision and artistic growth over time, evidence of sophisticated analytical and problem-solving skills based on historical and cultural knowledge.
Prerequisites: B average in 2D Studio Art II and Instructor Signature
